Local Equipped Area for Play at Ebbsfleet

The project

Ebbsfleet Quarter is the latest phase of the exciting Ebbsfleet Green development, which forms a significant part of the Ebbsfleet Garden City plans. The development is one of Redrow’s flagship sites and will offer the very best in modern living in the South East. With 40% of the land at Ebbsfleet Green designated as parkland and open spaces it will be a beautiful place to live.

idverde Housebuilder was asked by Redrow to design and install a play area that would satisfy the requirements of S106 and the obligation to provide a Local Equipped Area for Play (LEAP) under phase 2 of the development.

In order to deliver our client’s requirements, idverde Housebuilder supplied and installed:

• Playforce Vinci metal nest swing
• Playforce Vinci twin post cradle swing
• Playforce Vinci sheep springer
• Playforce Vinci mini tower with balcony & slide
• Cemer Play adventure game station
• Cemer Play sit & spin
• Playforce set of 10 timber stepping logs
• Playforce sloping balance beam
• Street furniture, safety grass matting, fencing

To further enhance the area, our teams also planted hedging around the fenceline to soften the border. A central seating area with a tree and soft planting also ensure the area will mature into a relaxing space for people to sit and enjoy while their children play safely.
