idverde was contracted by Lovell Homes to install a Local Equipped Area for Play (LEAP) to accompany their new builds, comprising of 3, 4 & 5 bedroom homes and 2 & 3 bedroom bungalows in Weston Woods, Cheshire.

Project delivery

Lovell Homes initially contacted idverde after a design was ready from a contracted landscape architect. Lovell Homes believed that the plan was approved already, but when the time came to install the play area, the local authority was unwilling to approve the design. This unexpected outcome placed time constraints on the site as they were under pressure to finish the development.
idverde had to act quickly on behalf of Lovell Homes and contacted Cheshire East and worked closely with ANSA to design an area approved by the council that could be installed as soon as possible. This minimised the workload and time taken for all parties.

The result

The community was welcoming and eager to see the finished result and offered idverde installers cups of tea and engaged with the project throughout the installation process. The installation went smoothly and idverde installed a range of Playforce and Vinci equipment, with the project completed in June 2021.
