The Importance of Inspections and Maintenance
At idverde Housebuilder, we know the importance of ensuring your play areas are well maintained and meet the relevant safety guidelines. idverde Housebuilder provides a range of Playground Inspection and maintenance services across the UK.
Did you know that you could be liable for any issues with your play facilities’ safety?
An independent RPII-certified inspection gives peace of mind about the safety of your play area and will identify any hazards or things to monitor.
idverde can also help with any repairs or maintenance required.
Playground Inspections
As a typical outdoor play area is used by hundreds of children throughout the course of the year, we would always recommend that an independent RPII-certified inspection is carried out annually.
With a variety of options and prices, we can advise you on the perfect solution for your play area. Our RPII-qualified inspectors will not only provide full inspection reports for your equipment and surfacing but will also help you to remedy any problems and make recommendations for any actions required, making sure the equipment is of a high standard and health and safety regulations are met.
Ongoing Inspection Services
Post Installation Inspection
A Post Installation package is for new equipment and includes full certification of the post-installation inspection and 1x post-installation inspection with a full report, delivered by an RPII-certified inspector.
Annual Inspection
This one-year package includes 1x annual inspection with a full report and is delivered by an RPII-certified inspector.
Full Inspection Package
This complete package includes 1x post-installation inspection delivered by an RPII-certified inspector and 3 x quarterly operational inspections delivered by our in-house quality and inspections team. These operational inspections can also include one-to-one training for a member of your staff or committee if you wish to instruct them on how to undertake weekly and monthly routine inspections.
Savings are available for multiple sites inspected together in the same region.
Playground Maintenance
Our Grounds Maintenance Operatives are able to maintain play areas within the housebuilder sector as part of our package service.
We can carry out the following services in order to ensure the playgrounds are maintained to a high standard:
- Playground maintenance and repairs
- Grounds maintenance services
- Surfacing renovation
- Chewing gum removal
- Graffiti removal
- Arboriculture works
- Winter services

Playground Design & Creation
Our team of experienced playground designers are able to draw on both our own equipment portfolio as well as sourcing from a range of specialist manufacturers. This means we are able to fulfil existing approved specifications, value engineer existing plans, and of course, design schemes that utilise the best equipment for your outdoor space, combined with our expertise in landscaping and groundworks
